Why Choose Mastodon Moving?
We Are Some Of The Best Movers in Boston

Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect when you choose Mastodon Moving services.

Environmental care.

Using renewable resources is important to us. Everything that doesn’t fit into our recyclable cardboard boxes gets wrapped in reusable pads. Likewise, we prioritize the use of rubber bands when wrapping furniture to lower our usage of tape.

Centrally headquartered in Westborough, MA, Mastodon Moving LLC provides go-to professional moving services near Boston, MA, and the surrounding areas. Our experienced and tested moving processes ensure a stress-free, simple move, allowing you to focus on what matters most, you, your loved ones, and transitioning to your next adventure.

We also make sure to recycle all materials at the appropriate recycling facilities. For electronic disposals, we work with Computer Recycling USA, Inc to lower our environmental impact.

Transparent on-site estimates

Mastodon Moving will always conduct an on-site estimate* where you can expect the following.

  • Discuss any questions or concerns you have about specific items or the move
  • Pinpoint high-value items and artwork
  • Determine items that require custom crating services
  • Identify large items that require disassembly (pool tables, exercise equipment, etc)

*Keep in mind that your total move cost may vary from our initial on-site estimate. Mastodon Moving - as with most moving companies - bills hourly, ensuring that we provide all necessary professional moving services.

You can’t be one of the best movers in Boston without caring.

Innovative & protective moving equipment

As professional movers, preparation is essential for a successful move. That is why we take the time to properly protect your old and new home and belongings by taking the following precautions:

  • Lay down neoprene floor runners to protect carpet and hardwood flooring
  • Cover doors and door jams with protective pads
  • Cover banisters to prevent any bumps and scrapes.
  • Lay rubber floor runners down in the winter, from your entrance to our trucks, to prevent snow and salt from entering your home.
  • Setup rain canopies in the event of inclement weather
  • Wear specialized non-marking indoor shoes, eliminating smudge or scuff marks.
  • Lay low-tack carpet shielding, protecting all carpets
  • Load onto our meticulously clean and spacious moving trucks, ensuring the safe and secure transportation of your belongings
